Fran How about finding 2 of your 4th great grandfathers as brothers on your Paternal line and 2 of your 3rd great grandparents as siblings, 2 female and one male, on your Maternal line? It's no wonder I'm not normal......LOL It wasn't that unusual back then especially in small isolated communities. It also makes it interesting if you're using Family Tree Maker and run a relationship list. Your children turn out to also be your nieces and nephews. :) God Bless and Keep You and Yours, Donna Love ----- Original Message ----- From: <KesslerWV@aol.com> To: <MDWASHIN-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, August 17, 2004 6:25 PM Subject: [MDWASHIN] family members inter-married > Fran > How about finding 2 of your 4th great grandfathers as brothers on your > Paternal line and 2 of your 3rd great grandparents as siblings, 2 female and one > male, on your Maternal line? Donna: Sometimes you don't want to go there. I have a cousin 4 times removed who sent me two family branches, family trees, she also mentioned that her husband was a 9th cousin to me. Well I got intruged by this and spent considerable time figuring it all out etc. Guess what I found out. That the husband and wife were also cousins. She didn't speak to me for a while and I was asked not to mention this to other family members!
