John was born about 1809 in Germany and was buried after 1853 in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery 3 miles east of Clear Spring, MD. John married Kunigunde Scheinder about 1827 in Germany. They had three children born in Germany, Leonard, George and Lena. They had five more children born in MD named Frederick, Mary, John, David and Samuel. The family lived in the Clear Spring and Dry Run areas of MD. Joe in Idaho, the Gem State.
