To all, I am not affiliated with this company, but I used a program called Net Deed Plotter by Greenbrier Graphics in 2011, and was very satisfied with it. I was working with Lancaster County, PA deeds. With this program, I was able to plot various tracts from the metes and bounds of the deeds and then compare them with the original warrant surveys which are on line from the Pennsylvania Archives. I could also abut one parcel up to others in jigsaw-puzzle fashion and view a composite map of adjoining parcels. It also was possible to adjust the scale of the maps to overlay them on Google maps so I could view the old 1750's parcels with the current roads, creeks, and fencelines. Very nice. The current web site for this program is: http://www.deedplot.com/ and it says it is for Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7 and Windows 8. I tried a free program called "Metes and Bounds" and a paid one called Informatik Mapdraw also, but I liked the DeedPlot the best. You can find trial versions of all 3 programs on the web.
