Lauren: Thank you so much for your information. You spent a lot of time typing all that information for me. I appreciate it!! Some of these "Johns" are much too young. I realize they could be siblings or ancestors of my Christopher. I'll keep all of it for reference. The marriage entry Chr./Barbara Toby 4/13/1809 was my Christopher. Their son, John was born 1 Apr 1810. I have full documentation on John up to present time. I have a bunch of Barr names who married about the same time Christopher and Barbara were. I wouldn't be surprised if they were'nt related. Hope I know for sure some day!! There were so many Barr families in PA that moved on to Indiana but my guy didn't seem to belong to any of them. I belong to the Barr surname list and don't seem to be able to make a connection on there either. If I could find out where he died I might learn something. I'll hit the LDS center tomorrow and do some more census searching. Thanks for your interest and desire to help. (I actually hear a rooster crowing off in the distance. What a delightful sound!!) Ruth in SW Iowa pr 1810.
