I couldn't find a Jacob Rumel/Rummel - but I did find this in the "Early German Settlers of York Co., PA (Revised Edition)" under Manchester Township... pg. 270 (Under the familly listing for Uhler) "Johan Adam, b. on Feb. 14, 1743 and bapt. at Christ's Lutheran on Feb. 23, 1743. He m. Elisabeth, dau. of Michael Geisselman (see entry in Shrewsbury section), at Strayer's on Junee 24, 1766. Adam's probate inventory was dated 1770. They had the following children (Elisabeth m. Frederick Rumel at Strayer's on Apr. 4, 1771, after Adam's death) (Adam and Elisabeth were sponsors to the baptism of Anna Barbara Meyer at Wolf's in June (1769)." I'm sorry I couldn't find what you were looking for, but maybe this may help sometime in the future.
