Samuel Boyd DAVIS was born 1768 Dublin, IRE and came to America in 1784. He married Catherine Müller (b:1773 Germany) in Oley, Berks, PA in 1799. They had 3 girls in Harrisburg, Dauphin, PA and then one boy in Reading before moving to Hagerstown, MD. He converted to Methodist in 1806 Hagerstown. William J Davis was born Oct 1806 Hagerstown and was christened by W. Jefferson Methodist preacher on circuit. John Davis was born there in 1812.
