    1. Re: [MDWASHIN] CHRISTOPHER BARR
    2. Lauren Brantner
    3. Christopher turns up in an Ancestry database that is Marsha Lynn Fuller's book on Washington County Naturalizations prior to 1880. The year 1810 is listed - info is in the Washington County Courthouse too - date & port of arrival, place of origin, place of naturalization etc. are listed. I don't have that book, but perhaps someone on the list does. Or if you're close to the courthouse, you might check it out. William Barr is also listed with an 1802 date - I assume that is when they were naturalized. They are the only two who show up on the search as specifically Washington County - I would bet because of the naturalization record. I realize they could be siblings or ancestors of my Christopher. I'll keep all of it for reference. The marriage entry Chr./Barbara Toby 4/13/1809 was my Christopher. Their son, John was born 1 Apr 1810. I have full documentation on John up to present time. >I have a bunch of Barr names who married about the same time Christopher and Barbara were. I wouldn't be surprised if they were'nt related. Hope I know for sure some day!! There were so many Barr families in PA that moved on to Indiana but my guy didn't seem to belong to any of them. I belong to the Barr surname list and don't seem to be able to make a connection on there either. If I could find out where he died I might learn something. >I'll hit the LDS center tomorrow and do some more census searching. Thanks for your interest and desire to help.
