Fockler died on Monday afternoon about one o'clock at his residence near Smoketown. He was in his eighty-third year. Mr. Fockler superintended a large portion of the stone masons work in the construction of the present Court house. Funeral Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at Smoketown. Re. W.S. Hoye officiating. Mr. Fockler leaves a wife and three small children, and Mrs. Lewis Martz, Mrs. Garlock, and Ben by his first wife. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Obit from Daily Mail Feb. 16, 1900 Mrs. Emeline Reese, wife of Ezra Reese, died early Thursday morning at her home in Smoketown after a brief illnesss, aged about sixty years. She is survived by her husband; daughter, Daisy, and stepson, Charles, both at home. Several brothers live in the neighborhood of Smoketown. Before marriage the deceased was a Miss Fockler, being a daughter of George Fockler, of Smoketown. Funeral at 10 o'clock today at U.B. church, Smoketown.
