    2. I am looking for the house of Conrad Hogmire, located in Tilghmanton, Md. According to a source, it is still standing today. I believe it is also known as the "Stonehenge" house and is located down a lane out of site from the highway that connects Hagerstown to Sharpsburg.

    3. John, we have visited the Hogmire-Spielman house. It was the home of Jonas Hogmire, given to him I believe from his father-in-law Andrew Rentch. We have photos of this farm if you are interested. We can e-mail them to you. As for Conrad's home, it was originally called the Old Fox Deceived. We have photos of what it looked like a few years ago. Unfortunately it was torn down to make room for the now Bob Evans Restaurant. The photos and information on this we got from Washington County Historical Society last summer. I am a descendent of Conrad Hogmire, as well as Andrew Rentch. 3. I just ran into a muster notice for the Maryland 10th Regiment of Militia in 1803 - posted by Jonas Hogmire, Lt. Col. So you may be looking at some military records for him.
