Bonnie: I really don't know much myself, a friend in Canada mentioned it to me and she is away for a while. I will contact friends in Scotland and see what I can find out. But here is my guess we Scots being very tightfisted didn't baptize one child at a time in Scotland, we did them all at once and only paid one fee, so I suspect this was something similar for marriage.
