Thank you, However, at familysearch.org there are entrues for a Harriet chr 17 Aug 1807 and a Kathrina chr on 21 Jan 1814 as well. So if they are not in the index, I'm wondering where familysearch.org came up with these records, also someone else sent me a few months ago a email with a Holly chr on 17-Aug 1807 as well. I was also wondering if St. Johns has records of deaths, looking for Maxwell's ca 1812.-- Mike Rohrer <mrohrer@usa.com> wrote: > Richard, > > In records of Evangelical Lutheran Church at > Elizabethtown (Hagerstown) > > Elizabeth of Maxwell Welsh and wife Marg. b 4 Jul > 1794; bapt 17 Aug 1807; spon: parents > James Maxwell of Maxwell Welsh and wife Marg. b 17 > Aug 1801; bapt 17 Aug 1807 > > - Source: Washington County, Maryland Church > Records of the 18th Century, 1768-1800; page 25. > > Those are the only ones in the index. > > Mike > > > > > > Was wondering if anybody has access to the Baptism > > Reords for St. Johns Church ? > > > > Would be interested in finding out if there are > any > > Baptism records for any Welsh/Welch children ? > > > > Richard Van Wagenen > > > > ==== MDWASHIN Mailing List ==== > Are your ancestors Pennsylvania Dutch?? Mike, Would there be a baptismal record for Sarah Anne Davis abt 1810? Her parents were Joseph Davis and Maryann Ward Davis. We know Sarah married William Bateman at St. John's in 1825. Thought there might be a chance she was also baptized there. Thank you for any help. Mike: Do you have "Yeakle" in the St John's book. My family lived in Hagerstown from 1770. Just curious if anyone is listed. Have never found the graves of those listed buried in the old cemetery--guess they were moved to Rose Hill, and not identified there. Thanks.
