So the original eBay posts that were gatewayed to a few of our lists from the boards should not have been posted in the first place and I have deleted them from the boards. I'm sure you all realize that Don's post was to alert everyone to be cautious in these matter should you see an advertisement slip through on a list. As admins, we don't really have too much control over the initial posts--especially those that slip through from the gateway. All we can do is to react and remove the posts after the fact. It is up to all of your to be cautious. Also, please don't assume that is is ok to post a commercial post or advertise an item for sale on our lists and boards. And, if you have a question about something you would like to post that could be considered commercial, please write privately to the admin address for the list before doing so, to help determine the appropriateness of the post. Thanks! Joan
