I've "rescued" an old photograph of Malotte HOUSER which was taken at the Guerin Studio in St. Louis, Missouri. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with Malotte just an infant at the time. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Malotte and her family: Agnes Malotte HOUSER was the daughter of Daniel Malott HOUSER (b. 23 Dec 1834 in Washington Co. MD) and his second wife, Agnes BARLOW who Daniel married on 23 Jan 1889 in St. Louis Co. MO. Daniel and Agnes had three children including, Agnes Marlotte; Stephen Douglas Barlow; and Duncan P. HOUSER. Daniel had three additional children by his first marriage to Marguerite J. INGRAM who he married in 1862 in St. Louis Co. MO, those children include, William; Lilly; and Daniel Malott HOUSER Jr. all born in St. Louis Co. MO between 1864 and 1871. Agnes Malotte married Sear LEHMANN and together they had 2 children, Frederick William b. 1919 in St. Louis MO and Sears LEHMANN Jr. Census records provide the following information: 1900 census of St. Louis, MO: Daniel M. HOUSER, age 65, born Dec 1835, married 11 years, born MO, Proprietor of the Globe-Democrat Agnes B. HOUSER, wife, age 39, born Jun 1860, married 11 years, 4 children/3 living, born MO, parents born MO Agnes M. HOUSER, dau, age 10, born Jan 1890, born MO, at School Douglass B. HOUSER, son, age 7, born Aug 1892, born MO, at School Duncan P. HOUSER, son, age 6, born Apr 1894, born MO, at School + 5 Servants 1910 census of St. Louis, MO: Daniel M. HOUSER, age 75 Mylott HOUSER, age 19 Douglas HOUSER, age 18 Duncan P. HOUSER, age 16 Lilly H. ADERTON, age 48 (dau) William ADERTON, age 44 + 5 Servants I am hoping to locate someone from the family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to their care.
