Jennings, who was born and spent the earlier part of his life near Brownsville, this county, died at his home in Panora, Iowa, last Monday, aged 87 years, 2 months and 27 days. His wife, who was Laura Barthelow, preceded him a number of years ago. There were thirteen children, nine of whom survive: Orville and Clinton of Omaha, Nebraska: Harry and Jesse, of Des Moines; Mrs. John Ruvane, of Cook Rapids, Iowa; Mrs. Hugh Carothers, Bayard, Iowa; Edward and George and Mrs. Jasper Morris, with whom he made his home, all of Panora. He is survived by one brother, Emanuel Jennings, Brownsville, Md. Funeral and interment at the Coon River Church of the Brethren Cemetery, near Panora. Jack Keller
