Mike: This is getting interesting, first of all I know living Shockey's several of them in fact and last but not least is Robert Crooks who was my 5th removed grandfather and a lawyer which is probably why his name is on the document. All of the Shockey's that I know are in Pennsylvania. I also see your mention of the East branch of Antietam Creek and that is located at the eastern outskirts of Waynesboro. I also have Heck's in my line, but not this family who were there early on, mine didn't come until the mid 1800's. i also recognize some of the other names.
