Thanks for the pics Gordon. BTW, I'm still looking for information regarding where I can get a copy of an 1815 marriage record from Washington County, MD. I don't even know if the originals still exist. I found on Ancestry.com Maryland Marriages, 1655-1850 and on Familysearch Maryland, Marriages, 1666-1970 neither which appears to be the same record as each gives slightly different info. Ancestry.com says Rufus Riches married Mary Crunkleton Dec. 26, 1815 in Washington County, MD. Familysearch says Rufus Riches married Mary Crunkleton  Dec. [no date] 1815 in Hagerstown, Washington County, MD. I'd love to see a copy of the original to see if Rufus is REALLY Riches or if he's REALLY as I suspect Eaches. I know in Ohio we keep marriage records in the county from statehood [1803], so I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on this for me. Thank you. And Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to everyone!
