Cindy- The Washington County MD message board is right where it always has been since June 2001: << http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=localities.northam.usa.stat es.maryland.counties.washington >> This board has never been "gatewayed" to this mailing list in view of the fact that both the list and board receive enough on their own. So it is important for Washington County researchers to check BOTH resources. Joan

    3. Cindy, In the marriage index there is a marriage of Geo J. FOCKLER/Margaret MORGAN 10/4/1837. Also Benj. FOCKLER/Louisa COLLEFLOWER 3/1/1851. Geo. FALKLER/Reb. WILSON 6/27/1843. The marriage index ends in 1860. I also saw a FOGLER entry in the newspaper extractions for a John who married Catherine MEISNER in 1826. There are some FOGLER burials in Trinity Evan. Luth. Church in Smithsburg - Vol III of cemetery books. There is a Maria FACKLER who had a letter at the P.O. in Hagerstown in 1812. 2. Hi Joe -- I may have some information for you on your William Reynolds. If he is the one I think he is, he was a very significant player in the Lutheran Church in PA and OH during the mid-1800s. He was the first President of Capital University, a Lutheran school in Columbus, OH. He died 5 Sept 1876 in Oak Park, IL. Contact me privately if this is the right guy. I have quite a bit about him, including a photo. Susan Kundert Coshocton, OH
