In the 1860 census we have: 1860 United States Federal Census Name: Alexander Higgs Age in 1860: 70 Birth Year: abt 1790 Home in 1860: District 6, St Marys, Maryland Gender: Male Post Office: Oakville Household Members: Name Age Alexander Higgs 70 Mary Higgs 48 Jno F Higgs 21 Mary J Higgs 17 Richard Higgs 15 Joe Higgs 12 I would assume that Mary J Higgs and Richard Higgs are really children of Joseph Hardesty. John F. Higgs was the son of Alexander and Eleanor Mattingly. Joe Higgs was the son of Alexander and Mary Ann Dean. Is this what you show? One last question, who do you show as the parents of Mary Anne Dean?
