His first wife was Sarah Taylor, daughter of Philip Taylor and Jane Fenwick; second was Eleanor Johnson; third wife was Mary ____who survived him. He died in 1706. Thomas Courtney, Sr. was born ca1641 and was the some of James Courtney (d. 1642) and Mary Lawne who m. second, Daniel Clocker. 1658: Mary Clocker, wife of Daniel Clocker and relict of James Courtney, recorded the cattle mark of her son, Thomas Courtney. 1/7/1660: Mary Clocker, mother of Thomas Courtney, with her husband, Daniel Clocker, released her son to do for himself, he now being of the age of 19. (Archives of Maryland). I think you're mixing up the men named John Johnson again. The one who died in 1687 did have a daughter named Susan. Thomas Burch was a brother of John Burch (d. 1734) who married Mary Johnson. Thomas and John were the sons of Oliver Burch and Barbara Tennison. I don't know that John Burch, Jr. ever married, but he was born in 1724 and was living as late as 1770.     3. Thanks Linda. Yes I did have a bad copy of the will abstact for John Johnson. Thats what I get for coping stuff from the internet without double checking. I read the will and it does say Susan, not Sarah.
