PATENTS E.I.#1 f363-365 1734 Kent Co., Md. Land in Kent Co. which Thomas Usher left to his son, George & his dau. MARY, WIFE OF JOHN ABELL who sold her 55 acres to Thomas Morsoll. (Note to me from Tom Jennings, 1/17/2004). Could this wording mean she was Jolhn Abell's wife at time of sale 1734? Hi again. From a cursory glance at the records involving the Ushers of Kent County, MD, there seem to be som possible SMC connections: 1) Daniel Sullivan was one of the witnesses to the Will of Thomas Usher in Kent County, MD. There was at least one contemporaneous Daniel Sullivan in SMC--and more in Virginia at the time. 2) Joseph Langley was another witness to the Will of Thomas Usher of Kent County, MD--we all know there was a Langley family in SMC. 3) "John Heyden" received a payment from the Estate of Thomas Usher of Kent County, MD, on 11/10/1715. Was he related to the Hayden family of SMC? Food for thought. John D. On Wed, Feb 13, 2013 at 3:33 PM, Thomas Jennings <consettct@gmail.com> wrote: > PATENTS E.I.#1 f363-365 1734 Kent Co., Md.
