    3. Hi folks, I've been studying the census data for Zachariah Peacock (christened 1773) for the years 1800, 1810, and 1820. They list the following: Males Females 1800 1 16-26 2 under 10 1 26-44 1 26-44 1810 1 under 10 1 under 10 1 26-44 2 10-16 1 26-44 1820 1 16-26 1 10-15 1 over 44 1 over 44 I think these individuals can be identified as follows: 1800 1 male 16-26 Zachariah Peacock 25 years old 1 male 26-44 Probably either a brother or his father 2 females under 10 children of Zachariah and Elizabeth Joy 1 female 26-44 Elizabeth Joy 1810 1 male under 10 Probably John Sylvester Peacock 1 male 26-44 Zachariah Peacock 1 female under 10 d/o Zachariah and Jane Drury (Prob b. 1804) 2 females 10-15 Probably children of Zachariah and Elizabeth Joy 1 female 26-44 Probably Jane Drury 1820 1 male 16-26 Probably John Sylvester Peacock 1 male over 44 Zachariah Peacock 1 female 10-15 d/o Zachariah and Jane Drury (Prob b. 1804) 1 female over 45 Elizabeth Norris The 2 girls under 10 in 1800 had to be born between 1791 and 1800. I am assuming that the two girls 10 to 15 in 1810 are the same 2 who were under 10 in 1800. If they were as old as 15 in 1810 then the earliest they could have been born would have been 1795. Therefore these two were born between 1795 and 1800. But since Zachariah Peacock did not marry Elizabeth Joy until 1797 we can say they were born between 1797 and 1800. In 1810 we have an additional female under 10. This means she was born between 1800 and 1810. This same female appears in the 1820 census as being between 10 and 15. If she was as old as 15 in 1820 then the earliest she could have been born would have been 1805. This means she was probably born between 1805 and 1810 and establishes her as a d/o Jane Drury. Can anyone add any additional data to help identify these people? I'd appreciate comments on my analysis or my conclusions. Thanks for anything you can provide. Don Drury

    3. Hi Don. I have not heard back from my e-mail to Ms. Obrist about the Drury book. Do you have a phone number for her? John D.
