    3. I have Shingles, I am old and Shingles have been in me since Christmas. Most unpleasant, I was exhausted walking ten feet, I had fire crackers going off under the shin on both sides and once in a while a cherry bomb. My skin was like that of a Snow Bird that sat in the sun for twelve hours on his first day in Sarasota. Now, just much pain in each arm pit and a fire cracker, once in while. New pills. Why this story. If you had chicken pox and are sixty year old or older there is a shot that just about guarantees you will not have to go through the hell of Shingles. I never heard of the shot until I was well into the exercise and if I had, maybe I would have ignored the opportunity. That would have been a very bad decision and would have saved the Tax Payers lots of money. Google Shingles and if you are old consider the shot.

    3. I was over getting the shot the afternoon of the day I heard of its existence a couple of years ago, as I had known of the horrors from the experience of friends. 3. Well, this is the first description of shingles that gave me an understanding of just exactly what i don't want to go through! Is it really so common? What brings it on? I've heard stress (who doesnt have stress?) and perhaps exposure to someone with full-blown chicken pox? ~Lisa On Tue, Mar 5, 2013 at 9:11 AM, Dave Cummins <dec405@comcast.net> wrote: > I have Shingles, I am old and Shingles have been in me since Christmas. > Most unpleasant, I was exhausted walking ten feet, I had fire crackers > going off under the shin on both sides and once in a while a cherry bomb. > My skin was like that of a Snow Bird that sat in the sun for twelve hours > on his first day in Sarasota.
