    3. Hi Some years back, I was a volunteer in a shingles vaccine study. It lasted 2 years, sponsored, I believe, by Merck. As the study began, we had a series of lectures concerning shingles, esp. the effect & likelihood on older citizens.. Ended up I had rec'd the pesubeo and as soon as the vaccine was approved I rec'd a fee shot. 3. Hi Sorry, my text was sent before I had time to correct my spellings. Some years back, I was a volunteer in a shingles vaccine study. It lasted 2 years, sponsored, I believe, by Merck.. As the study began, we had a series of lectures concerning shingles, esp. the effect & likelihood on older citizens and some commented on the intense pain they had.. I had rec'd the placebo and as soon as the vaccine was approved I rec'd a free shot.
