I saw the property deed for the farm his late father (my uncle) purchased in 1956. The property description stated the farm was previously known as Carberry's Discovery and Sutler's Post. I later learned Sutler's Post was incorrectly listed and it should have been Suttle's Rest. This farm is on the road between Helen and Chaptico. What intrigues me is I believe my cousin and I are related to a John Baptist Carberry who might have owned this farm in the 17th century. Can anyone help me with advice on documenting this?
