    3. I made a mistake. I have in my notes that John Abell ( brother to Winifred Abell who married the Thomas men) married first Ann unknown then Elizabeth Aud daughter of Thomas Aud. I have the will of this John Abell and he died abt 1781. But I haven't done much research on him. He is the one I thought maybe married Ann Federy. And thanks for letting me know Vaudrey was a different family. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Reno" <lindareno@comcast.net> To: <mdstmary@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 30, 2013 8:39 AM Subject: Re: [MDSTMARY] D 1671 Thomas Thomas and Bachelor's Rest I have John Abell, brother of Winifred, was married to Elizabeth _____. Did you mean Samuel, his father instead? If so, it's a possibility, but we'd need some proof. The Fadery family and the Vaudrey/Vadry family were different ones. We know her name was Ann from his will. It seems logical??? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Reno" <lindareno@comcast.net> To: <mdstmary@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 29, 2013 9:54 AM Subject: Re: [MDSTMARY] D 1671 Thomas Thomas and Bachelor's Rest Winifred Abell married first cousins. Mark Thomas was the son of Herbert Thomas and Ruth Fossee as you said. Luke Thomas was the son of Robert Thomas, Jr. and wife, Mary. I really think Mary, wife of Robert Thomas, Jr. was Mary Fadery, a sister of John Fadery who married Honor Thomas, daughter of Robert Thomas, Sr. and wife, Abagail. Ann, John, and Mary Fadrie were transported in 1670 (Skordas). Mary Fadery was married three times. Her first husband was John Little; second was Robert Thomas, Jr.; and third was John Millman. Winifred Abell was the daughter of Samuel Abell and Winifred Riley. She wasn't Winifred Hall, daughter of Simon Hall. It doesn't appear that Simon Hall had any children--if so, why would he have left his estate to cousins? Samuel Abell was probably a friend or neighbor who served as executor of Hall's estate. Will of Simon Hall, planter, SMC, ------1725-11/22/1725. After Luke died Winifred married Mark Thomas the son of Herbert Thomas and Ruth Fosse Herbert was son of Robert Thomas and Abigail. So far Robert doesn't fit for any of the Thomas Thomas' I have seen. This line of Thomas's were Catholics and some times I recognize relatives of them in some records. I still don't know the parents of Luke Thomas the first husband of Winifred Abell. Does anyone know???? So far I see lines of Thomas's in Charles Co., MD that I don't recognize. There are also the Thomas's who owned Bachlor's Rest and Newington ( William Thomas son of Thomas Thomas who died 1671was living there) in St Mary's Co Maryland. My Robert Thomas owned and died at Poplar Hills Plantation, St Mary's Co., Maryland. ----- Original Message ----- From: <clark8178@comcast.net> To: <mdstmary@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, January 27, 2013 6:19 PM Subject: Re: [MDSTMARY] D 1671 Thomas Thomas and Bachelor's Rest > From all these wills we have several men named Thomas Thomas .
