You are welcome. Unfortunately, I haven not been able to do much research due to loss of much eyesight this past year, but would love to find out who the particular William Suit was -- who was first found in Granville Co., NC in the 1771 tax list. I strongly believe that he may have been another son of Thomas Suite, Jr. but no proof. But that tax list does prove that Suit/Suite folks were in NC prior to the Revolution. We know Thos. Suite, Jr. was living in 1769 as he bought a church pew with Thos., Sr. in SMC and also was in his dad's will that was written 1765 and probated 1771. No clue what became of him after 1771 when his father died. Dent Suit, I, also had a son named Thomas as did Nathaniel, I, so it is confusing. > From: dantrouble@comporium.net > To: mdstmary@rootsweb.com > Date: Tue, 1 Jan 2013 00:45:59 -0500 > Subject: Re: [MDSTMARY] My Edwards lineage > > Thanks, Bonnie, for the Suit(e) info, especially the additional information > on Samuel "Sute". > > Was reading some of your postings on the the Suites on Genealogy Forum this > evening. > > So many names are new to me.
