Joseph Burnes, Pitts Stallar Then there's the 1820 Nelson Census that places Sam Gatton a dozen door down from Joseph Jarboe. Per the attachment. From a Maryland view by location proximity this Mary would be a canidate to consider.. Randy,  I'm having problems with Mary Jarboe being the daughter of Joseph Jarboe and Mary Clarke.  According to my records, they were married 10/6/1792 in Nelson Co., KY.  The Mary Jarboe who married Samuel Gatton was born prior to 1784.
