Below is another article published in the Winter 2008-2009 "Generator." It was a hand-out given at the Veterans Day ceremony held on November 9th {Sunday before Veterans Day} at Joy Chapel. It was sponsored by the new Sgt. James H. Harris Camp #38, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, established this summer to serve St. Mary's & Calvert counties. YES, Yankees do live in St. Mary's !! :o) - even if they are imports like me !! But note a native St. Mary's Union soldier lead this list. The "copy & paste" function from WordPerfect to e-mail messes the format & tends to put in double spaces; but here you have a list of all known vets at Joy Chapel. Sorry for the way the format comes across in "copy & paste." It does NOT look like that in the original nor in the copy in the current "Generator." If you have anything to add to these people, post to the List.
