I'm presuming this is the marriage: James Norman Thompson, 22, single m. Mary Elsie Thompson, 17, single, (not related) 6/20/1922 at Chaptico by Charles F. Bridges, S.J. (SMC Marriages, 1915-1940 by Dick Nelson). I have two Mary Elsie Thompsons, both b. 1905, but again I'm presuming this one was the daughter of John Levi Thompson and Agnes Alverta Jenkins? George Thompson wasn't Druscilla's son. He was by the first marriage to Mary Melvina Hill. My Andersons are more than a bit murky. Jane Anderson, b. 1825, was a granddaughter of Joseph Anderson who m. first, Henrietta _____ (maybe). Her parents may have been Thomas Anderson (son of Joseph) and Elizabeth "Lettie" Heard or of Alexander Anderson (another son of Joseph) and his wife, Roseanna Wilkinson. I list her under Thomas, but that could easily be wrong. Joseph Anderson's second wife was Jane Hazel, widow of James Crooke. Jane married James Rock, Jr. in 1839. She does not appear to have had any children. John Curry and wife Jane sold property to George W.L. Buckler 11/12/1854 for $25 which as identified as estate of Joseph Anderson and Jane Rock, deceased. Jane and John were listed as heirs at law or devisees of Joseph Anderson and Jane Rock. Jane Anderson was one of the witnesses to the will of Jane (Hazel) Rock in 1848 and she was living with Jane in 1850. Joseph Anderson was probably from Charles County. In 1790 and 1800 he was living in Charles County. He was in St. Mary's County by 1808 and then listed on the 1810 and 1820 censuses of St. Mary's County. He died, intestate, by August 30, 1827. Report on the Andersons follows. If anyone can offer any help on this bunch, it sure would be appreciated. You'll note that several of the children moved to KY. Linda Reno Descendants of Joseph Anderson Generation No. 1 1. JOSEPH1 ANDERSON was born Bet. 1766 - 1770 in St. Mary's Co., MD, and died Bef. 30 Aug 1827 in St. Mary's Co., MD.
