    3. So far I haven't been able to connect the Rennoe family of Charles County to the Reno family of Virginia. Grafton and Grover Rennoe are undoubtedly descendants of William F. Rennoe who first appears in Charles County on March 8, 1826 when he bought "The Enlargement" in Durham Parish from Joseph Smoot. Here's the family in 1910: 1910, Piscataway, PG Co., MD: Alex Rennie 72, m. 23 years, farmer Emma Rennie 58, wife Charles Rennie 23, son, farm lab. George Rennie 18, son, farm lab. Harvey Rennie 15, son, farm lab. Grafton Rennie 13 Grover Rennie 13 Walter Rennie 12 Andrew Rennie 10 (All MD/MD/MD) Sorry I can't be of much help on this, but it is very ironic as their mother, Druscilla Curry (her full name was Catherine Druscilla Dorsey Curry) was a sister of my ancestor, Joseph Henry Curry (children of John Curry and Jane Anderson). Her husband, James Henry Thompson was married first to Clarissa Melvina Hill, daughter of William D. Hill and Mary Ann "Nancy" Bleathen and granddaughter of Henry Hill and Margaret Davis (Margaret Davis was a sister to my ancestor, Rebecca Davis who m. James Burroughs). Are you connected? 3. Thanks Linda for the info. After posting, I found that listing of Alex Rennie family in Piscataway. It does appear that Grafton and Grover were twins (same age and those names). That is interesting that you mention William F. Rennoe. I just recently transcribed stones of his family cemetery. Although I am related to the Thompson's of Thompson's Corner, I don't believe my Thompson's and James Henry Thompson are related--at least as far as we can tell. They are close by to my family and there are some marriages between the families. George, James Henry and Drucilla's son married an Anderson who is related. Also, Norman Thompson married a Thompson who is related, and so it goes. It is of interest that you mention your Jane Anderson who married John Curry. Do you know what Anderson family she is from? My Anderson's go back to Henry Anderson and Elizabeth Beavin but I don't have anything on Jane Anderson. Henry lived in PG, Charles and St Mary's Counties. The Thompson Rennoe connection appeared that sisters were marrying brothers. I think this information proves that was true. Thanks for sharing.
