Hi, List, James Carroll's family seems to cross the lines between Charles and St Mary's Counties. James was born about Aug 1696 and died bef 15 Apr 1759 in Charles County. He was mentioned in the records of the Samuel Burgess family, the Chapman family, and the Reagen/Regon family. He was the third husband of Elizabeth who was married first to John Wood, Jr. who died bef Aug 1714. Elizabeth was married second to John Reagen (1686-1728) who was the brother-in-law of Elizabeth Chapman (d/o Richard and Mary Chapman) who married Matthew Reagen. Elizabeth and James Carroll were the administrators for the estate of her son, John Wood who died in 1740, and naming the relationships in his probate docs. Does anyone know if this James Carroll was related to the more famous Carroll family i.e. the many Charles and Daniel Carrolls of Anne Arundel county? Thank you for any help. Norma Lundgren
