I am from the line of Thomas Alexander Savier's sister Laura Virginia Savier 1812-1892. She married George M. Thompson 9 March 1831 in Norfolk, Virginia. They had 3 children: Edward B. Thompson 1832-1890 married a VanDaniker Ann Elizabeth Thompson 1834-1905 married a Clough Joseph Savier Thompson 1839-1911 (my line) married a Forsyth I know that Savier's death was reported to his mother Laura during the battle defending Richmond. Savier was in the 3rd Alabama (Mobile Rifles) He servived in the Civil War. Joseph Thompson of Baltimore married Miss Sarah L. Forsyth Warren County, Virginia on 17 March 1865 in Hagerstown, Maryland. Joseph was also known as Savier, Josiah & J.S. Thompson on Census records. He was buried under the name Josiah Thompson on 9 Sep. 1911 Cincinnati, Ohio. Would you know the maiden name of Elizabeth Wolfe? Widow of Benjamin Wolfe. Mrs. Elizabeth Wolfe married Joseph B. Savier-Margutie on 28 Aug 1812 Norfolk, Virginia. I'm also in contact with another descedent of Thomas Alexander Savier. Thru the Mears & Rupp line. Which line of Thomas & Mary Savier are you thru?
