L39, f99 I examined the original libers myself this summer at MD Archives and took photos of liber pgs including the wills of Alexander, John Hambleton of Talbot Co., and the above William Hamilton of C.C. The last line on the will in the original liber at MD Archives CC#3, f290 reads: "NB[?] Joseph Hamilton heir at Sworn Before Law was at the time of the taking of the above probat Beyond the seas" Where do we place Joseph? What of the curious letter that looks like a "B?" 8/11/1768: From John Hamilton, Wm. Hamilton, James Hamilton, and Patrick Hamilton of CC to Samuel Hamilton of CC, planter pt. of "Spye Park", 80 ac. William Hamilton's wife was Anastasia Combs, sister of Mary Ann Combs wife of Capt. James Hamilton. Mary Ann and Anastasia were the daughters of Thomas Combs and Elizabeth Wharton. [What proof her maiden name was Coombes?] This William Hamilton was son of Patrick, he married Violetta Hagan.
