    3. Dottie, I think you should check your sources. Since Cecil Calvert and his wife Anne Arundel never came to Maryland it is hard to believe they had a daughter born there in 1630, four years before the Ark and Dove Adventurers arrived. I think that they had five children, none named Winifred. They did have a daughter Mary, born in England in 1630, who married Sir William Blakistone. There is a very well researched genealogy of the Calvert family that was published in the Maryland Historical Magazine. Cheers, Pete >Re your posting below and the maiden name of Winifred. 3. Hello Peter T Thompson, Thank you for your email, I am always open to corrections. I have retraced my sources My sources came from MD St Mary List (pd881@netscape.net) Clements Joseph L (passargas@aol.com). As I retrace my sources, I see that the information from the Md St. Mary List in 2005 has the following, so I see MY MISTAKE, as I put the Winifred Calvert with the wrong Thomas Green b abt 1635. It should have been put with Thomas Green b. 1615. or abt 1610 according to this source below Please read the following two sources that should go with the Thomas Green b. abt 1610 or 1615 Book: Charles Co. Md, My Colonial Relations plus Others, page 115, Thomas Green married: #1 Ann Cox who was a passenger on the Ark and Dove when he came over on same. Lord Baltimore gave her a special grant of 500 acres and it states that "she was the first wife of Thomas Greene, Esq. Since they were both Catholics, we can presume Father Andrew White s.J. performed their marriage, possibly the first for a Catholic couple in MD. 1.
