I started looking at the Lush Family & found in 1820 census Hardin Co., KY #1 Wm Lush 2 males under 10, 2 males 10-16, 1 male 16-18, 1 male 45 & over; 1 female 10-16, 1 female 26-45 #2 Wm Lush, jun, 1 male 16-26, 2 females under 10, 1 female 16-26 #3 Wm Lush, 1 male under 10, 1 male 10-16, 2 males 16-18, 2 males 16-26, 1 male 45 & over; 1 female 10-16, 1 female 26-45 I don't know the difference in catagories males 16-18 & males 16-26, the 16-18 does not occur in females. Could it do with military service? I expected 1 William Lush & 1 Wm. Jr. & was surprised by the 3rd one. Does anyone know which is which? Which went to Larue Co. & which to Hart Co.? David - It was that third William that was giving me fits when we were discussing this earlier and I never did figure out who he was. By the way - the 1820 census forms run 16-18 and 18 through 25. I think your 16 through 25 might just be a misread.
