There were no other Burch people in the will, but at his estate sale, I see a George Burch, Mary Burch, Bay Lor Burch (Baylor), and Richard Burch so they may be relatives and related, but not sure. None are mentioned in his will. Only his siister's children and he names his sister as Susannah JONES plus the man named James JONES witnessed it. I was wondering if Richard Burch was perhaps the same person as Richard Nevitt Burch. Do you know what happened to him? Attention B. K. Marshall Walter "Watty" Burch was my 3rd great grandfather who m. Teresa Hagan and this is what I have for their children, and you will see that they did have Mary Burch b. 1794 who m. 1st Dr. Guy Elder and he died, and she married my 2nd great grandfather, Dr. Henry B Porter FYI, Stanislaus was not b. 1817 but married 1817 to Christina Hagan. For anyone that does not have it, I can send you a picture of Walter and Teresas home in New Haven, KY (just email me at djhimes@bellsouth.net) . We were there just last summer, and it is slowly deteriorating, the walls are being propped up but it sure was a nice home when it was built. It was the home where the visiting Priest said masses on Sunday, for a long time. I am not familiar with any Burches that went to SC but it could be true. In my database, shown below, it looks like Walter and Teresas children are all buried in KY.
