Jerry, I've thrashed this out with Linda and think her versions is correct. Mary Usher was one of 3 wives of John Abell. John Abell b.1680 -d.October 1746 wed Frances Wilkinson Bet. 1734 - 1735 who had 3 husbands, Evan Howell, Robert Hutchins d.1734, and John Abell. John Abell also wed Mary Usher who wes b. Kent Co. , Md, d/o Thomas Usher d/1713/1714 & Elizabeth John Abell also wed Dau. Fisher who was the mother of his children. Marriages are in reverse order. PATENTS E.I.#1 f363-365 1734 Kent Co., Md. Land in Kent Co. which Thomas Usher left to his son, George & his dau. MARY, WIFE OF JOHN ABELL who sold her 55 acres to Thomas Morsoll.
