Mike, I realize that James Medcalf does not give married names of Daughters, maybe there were accounts of estate that do. I think we need to check the Nelson County, Ky Marriages again, because Catherine MEDCALF I have married 16 Jan 1815, in Nelson County, KY, but another web site claims they married 22 APR 1834 in Nelson Co, KY, I have not seen this 2nd marriage, does it exist? Jerry, If I had to take a guess....and that's all it would be, I'd say that Ignatius Medcalf who m. Eliza Vowles was probably the son of John Kenelm Medcalf, but I don't have enough information.
