St. Mary's Co., Court (Land Records) I H 5:32 Indenture made 12th Jan 1819 Stephen Gough purchased for two thousand dollars from William Thomas Executor of James Thomas of Talbot Co., MD Several Tracts or parcels of land lying Situate and being in Saint Mary's County heretofore to wit on the thirtieth day of July one thousand Seven hundred and eighty two purchased by Athanasius Ford from a Certain John Lancaster; on the twenty fifth day of March one thousand Seven hundred and eighty five purchased by the Said Athanasius Ford from a Certain John Greenwell of James also one other parcel of Land heretofore purchased by the Said Athanasius Ford from a Certain Richard Clarke; and the several tracts of land adjoining and belonging to and lately in the possession of the Said William Thomas.
