Linda,   I can't positively place your Joseph but I do have Robert Greenwell married to Maria Twyman by 1820 when they had a son James Ignatius who married Juliette Wheeler. The next child I have for them was George Felix Greenwell (b. 1824) who married my GG Aunt Catherine Henrietta Drury in 1846.   Your Joseph would fit into the gap between these two nicely and your bond of Thomas Twyman presupposes some sort of connection with this family.
