I added this in my notes: Mike Gough believes that Catherine was the daughter of Peter Gough and Eleanor Bowles. I agree it's a good choice. It means that Catherine and Ignatius were first cousins. He also states that Catherine (Gough) Bowles d. in Union Co., KY 8/20/1828 and she's buried at Sacred Heart RCC, St. Vincent, Union Co., KY. Jerry, I have that John Bowles and Monica Daft (not Wooten) had a son named Ignatius Bowles, b. bef. 1774. Ms. Donnelly incorrectly stated that her surname was Wooten.
