    3. Membership year runs July 1 to June 30. 2008-2009 is the current year. If you were to join now, you could join back to July 1st 2008 or hold off & start w/ July 1st 2009. If you were to join now for 2008-2009 rather than 2009-2010, you would receive: Fall 2008 "Generator" - September '08 Winter 2008-2009 "Generator - December '08 Membership List - January '09 Bonus Issue 2009 {special "Generator"} - January '09 Spring "Generator" - March '09 Summer "Generator" - June '09 If you were to join for 2009-2010, you "Generator" subscription would start w/ Fall 2009 next September. It would make better sense to join now & receive the Fall, Winter, Membership List & Bonus all in one packet & then get the Spring & Summer as they come out. Programs: January 26 Diane Giannini "City Directories & Obituaries with the Census as your Guide" Febr. 23 Bill Mitchell "David L. Gale Bible Project: A Case Study in Genealogical Research" March 23 Robert McLaren "DNA Testing & Genealogical Research April 27 Craig Scott "World War I Military Records" May 18 Nancy Waters Lauer "Write Your Family History" These meetings are at the Garvey Senior Center, St. Mary's Co. Governmental Complex {old Leonard Hall School property}, MD 245 - Hollywood Road, Leonardtown - starting at 7:00 pm followed by GOOD FOOD {desserts} & business meeting June 22 Annual Spring Supper & Election of Officers Catered dinner by Episcopal Church Women, St. George's "Poplar Hill" Episcopal Church, William & Mary Parish, MD 244 - Blake Creek Road, Valley Lee. This one has a fee & a RSVP which will be announced in the Spring & Summer "Generators." This is held at Poplar Hill Parish Hall on the grounds of St. George's "Poplar Hill" Episcopal Church in Valley Lee, St. Mary's County .... on MD 244, just off MD 249, near the Valley Lee Post Office. Don't confuse St. George's "Poplar Hill" with St. George Roman Catholic Church on St. George Church Road, just off MD 249 also in Valley Lee. People mix the two all the time.
