Dear List, I realize that 99.9% of all the web sites on Rootsweb world Family Trees claim that George A. MEDCALF who married Elizabeth WINKLER and his brother John Allen MEDCALF who married Frances WINKLER are the sons of John Kenelem MEDCALF. I know Mary Yoder and Melissa Alexander Thompson have both claimed such, but they are mistaken. The truth is that all of these web sites that claim this are false. It's time we get the lineage correct. If that is how you have it in your data base please removed it. George A. MEDCALF who married Elizabeth WINKLER and his brother John Allen MEDCALF who married Frances WINKLER are both sons of a George A. MEDCALF Sr. and Nancy ? this Medcalf line comes from Pennsylvania I believe. Maybe they were at one time from Maryland. Alex Adams posted securities.- 1810 Ohio Co., Ky Census lists: George Medcalf, 3 males under 10, 2 10-16, 2 16-28, 1 26-45. 2 females under 10, 1 26-45.- "So south" states that George and Nancy had 11 children and the 3 oldest sons went to Dale, Spencer Co., Ind - Allan, George Jr., & Thomas. Ok If John Allen Medcalf, George A. Medcalf, and Thomas Medcalf were all sons of George Medcalf Sr. and Nancy ? and they all went to Indiana.
