Do not have any children by Betsey Coomes. Nor do I know what happened to Betsey after Ignatius d in 1839 Hardin Co. None of the Medcalf in Hardin Co had a older woman living with them. Didn't you look at the dates of the the land record in SMC, MD?? Was 1831 but referances land records of 1792 & 1796. My Ignatius Medcalf Sr was in Nelson Co from 1787-- I don't think he knew about the land records??? Also: Ignatius Medcalf who m Eliza Vowles is d/o James & Mary Bryan Medcalf. Where did you get MARY FRENCH as w/o Ignatius Medcalf???? Don't know where the errors are coming from!! ALSO: Do not have a GREENLEAF as wife of William COOMES--- was quoting a tree I found.
