    1. [MDSTMARY] John Chesley had land "Canoe Neck" --Question about land trail
    2. I have a question about the land known as "Cannough Neck" and "Canoe Neck"-- I saw in the latest discussions how the Chesley's had "Canoe Neck" land. I am very interested in this and the trail of this tract of land. I saw on www.stmarysfamiles.com how it went through several families beginning with Thomas Truman through Samuel Wood (d. 1758 SMC). How did Samuel Wood come into this land? It was held by an Anne Neal and Mary Lancaster before him. Who were they? Later, George Davis come to this land and why did James Suit buy it with a same day "reverse deed"? I know it was in the latest 1700's--does anyone have the exact year when James Suit bought "Canoe Neck", 100 ac. from George Davis (reverse deed same day). If anyone knows more about this land trail and the Davis/Suit transaction, plus **What happened to the land after the "reverse deed" and where the trail went after this "reverse deed"--I am very intersted. Thanks. B. Treon bonnietreon@hotmail.com _________________________________________________________________ It’s the same Hotmail®.
