    3. Linda, I will answer those that I can. -----Original Message----- From: mdstmary-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:mdstmary-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Linda Reno Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2009 1:52 PM To: mdstmary@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [MDSTMARY] PEAK Questions: William French signed the bond for the marriage of Edward Peak and Henrietta Boone. The wife of William French was Mary "Polly" Boone who m. second, Francis Peake. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it usually the man who had to provide surety for the marriage bond and not the female? If right, should I assume that William French was surety for Edward Peake then? I haven't followed the Boones. Was Walter Boone the same one who m. Mildred Edelen? Yes, but he also married Elizabeth "Betsy" HAGAN daughter of Benjamin HAGAN and Monica BLANDFORD. Was Sarah Jane Carrico the daughter of the same James Carrico who m. Henrietta (Boone) Peake? YES, But James CARRICO married 1st to Teresa HAGAN 27 Oct 1807 , Nelson, Kentucky daughter of Bennett Hagan and Ann ? Sarah Jane CARRICO - her mother was Teresa HAGAN Sure it said that Henrietta Peake gave permission for John C. Peake to marry in 1839? Wouldn't she have been Henrietta Carrico then? Good Point I will have to examine those notes to see where they went wrong.
