1850 Census Granville Co., NC is a Wesley Suit 55 blacksmith. Living with him is a wife, 7 children including Susan 17 and a Tinsley Oakley 22, wheelwright. There are 5 other Oakley households in Granville Co. & 25 in Person Co., NC. I see 28 Oakley/Oakly marriages in Granville between 1785-1867 and 35 marriages in Person 1800-1867. There are more in other counties. If you give me which names and/or dates you are interested in I wll see what I can find.
