Ancestry.com says he lived in Cecil County, but if you look at the actual page, it's Charles. Higgs, wife of John Tracy, was born 29 Jul 1829 and died 20 Feb 1859. She is burried at Christ Church Cementary, Chaptico. John Tracy's first wife and mother of his daughter Caroline, is Mary Eleanor ______ Tracy, who is also buried at Christ Church, died Feb 1850. This info comes from descendants of Emily Tracy, daughter of John Tracy and Sophia Higgs. I have 2 separate sources for this info and both are identical. Again, I have asked for copies of the bible pages. Once I have confirmed the info for Sophia E. Higgs, this will pretty much solve the mystery of her being the widow of Wilson Higgs because she would have been too young to be his wife or the mother of Alfred Turner Higgs, who was born in July 1842.
