State of Kentucky} January County Court 1804 The above letter of Attorney from Thomas G Allvy to William Wilkins was proved by the oaths of Henry Davidge Esquire and Aquilla Field subscribing witnefs thereto to be the act and deed of the said Thomas G Allvy and the same is ordered to be recorded A Copy Test S Work CC Commonwealth of Kentucky Ohio County} Thomas Green Allvy came before me one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Ohio and Commonwealth aforesaid and made oath that he is the same Thomas G Alvey to whom the original certif- icate in his name was Granted of which the following is a true Copy "Saint Marys County Orphans Court October Term 1785 Present the worshipful John De Butts Wm Kilgour Thomas Bond and Zachariah Forest Esquires Among other proceedings of the said Court was the following to wit an application of Thomas G Alvey late a soldier in the third Maryland Regiment for an allowance under the act of assembly of October session 1778, it appearing to the Court that the said Thomas Green Alvey is rendered in capable of serving in the army or navy though not totally disabled from getting his livelihood. Ordered by the Court that the Treasurer of the Western shore do pay unto the said Thomas Green Alvey one fourth part of his full pay as corporal from the first day of January 1781 to this time page 226 ((seal)) I hereby certify that the aforegoing is a true copy taken from the minutes of the orphants Court for Saint Marys County In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Public seal of my office this 14th day of March Anno domini 1787 198 Words Test Jeremiah Jordan Regs . For Saint Marys County That he served in the third Maryland Regiment at the time he was disabled and now resides in Breckinridge County in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and has resided there the last seven years past, previous to which he resided in Washington County in said Commonwealth previous to which he resided in Sait Marys County in the state of Maryland.
