Leonard Payne, Sr. had a daughter named Ann who was married to a Cissell and mentions her in his will. (Ann Payne married John Baptist Cissell. See Catholic Families of Southern Maryland, Timothy J. O'Rourke, Genealogical Pub. Co. Inc. Baltimore, 1985 and Records of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 1744-1916 for the children.
